Android Installation
Please follow the below instructions to install the Android app to your phone

Please note: "Secure Delivery" requires that you have DATA Service. If you are in an area that does not have DATA or WiFi service available you will not be able to retrieve the encrypted message. If you find yourself in this situation, please contact the answering service for the full message. All messages sent will have the following elements unsecured: Who the caller is requesting, the type of call (Hospital, Patient, Consult, etc.) and the callers contact number. In order to be HIPAA and HITECH compliant the any information about the patient must be encrypted



How to Install Secure Delivery on your Google Android Device


​       1. Go to the Google Play store on your device

       2. In the Play Store search for and Download "Spectrum Secure Delivery"

       3. After Downloading open the app and enter the following for the URL

              https://secure.myanswerlink.com

       4. After successful connection you will be taken to a log in screen

       5. Enter your ID and password


*If you have dual notification (SMS & App), if you click the blue hypertext line within the text message; android will ask what app to use as the default to open. Here you can choose to select our app as the default and from then on clicking the blue line will open our app.


You have now downloaded the Native app onto your phone. You will receive an SMS and app notification. If you choose you can have the SMS notification disabled by the answering service, per your request.
